1994年カリフォルニア州 バークレー生まれ、シンガーソングライター。
学生としての最後の時間を過ごしたデンマークで日々を綴った自作曲を集め、2015年にファースアルバム「So I began」を発表。間もなく日本各地に伝わる民謡を唄い繋ぐことも始める。
国内外様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションを経て、ソロ最新作は2020年 夏 写真家・Miho Kajiokaの写真を迎え民謡集 「摘んだ花束 小束になして」。
TVCMのナレーションや、絵本の翻訳を含め音楽の垣根を越えて活動は多岐に渡る。
カリフォルニア、仙台、デンマーク、パリ、東京を経て、現在は京都を拠点に活動中。
 

Born in Berkeley, California, LUCA is a singer-songwriter based in Japan.
Her work includes vocal performances on Ryuichi Sakamoto’s solo album “async”, as well as some recent collaborations with haruka nakamura. In September 2019, LUCA releases the album “Light Waves” in collaboration with Kyoto based singer-songwriter There is a fox.
After collaborating with various artists, her latest solo album “Japanese old folk songs - A bouquet of the meadow -“ was released in summer of 2020.
LUCA currently resides in Kyoto after living in various places such as California, Denmark and Paris.
Away from music, LUCA has provided narrations for commercials. She also does translation work in various fields.
