Izanagi tries to get her back into the world of living. #alternativepop #synthpop #triphop Based on Japanese mythologie of Japan’s creation involving the two first existing Japanese gods Izanami and Izanagi, the music videos of UKICO’s first 3 singles will be a trilogy, ultimately showing the gods' reincarnation in a short film (3rd single). The story of Japan’s creation starts with the first two existing Gods Izanagi (male God) and Izanami (female God). After forming Japan’s islands they gave birth to other gods (god of the wind, seas trees etc..) But Izanami, after birthing the god of Fire suffered from heavy injuries and died. Her spirit descended to the underworld. Izanagi who missed her terribly decided to go to the underworld to bring her back. 'Denial is about denying the pain of loosing a soulmate, and avoiding your true feelings, your subconscious mind represented here by the Butoh dancers. They perform a ritual on UKICO who incarnated Izanami, until she succumbs into the underworld, the darkness inside of her.
